June is a colorful month for all people who are Indigenous and those who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community worldwide. The whole month of June is Pride Month and also includes National Indigenous People's Day on June 21st.
National Indigenous People's Day is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. The Canadian Constitution recognizes these three groups as Aboriginal peoples, also known as Indigenous peoples.
Gaia's Designs supports both the LGBTQ+ community worldwide and the Indigenous communities around Saskatoon and Saskatchewan. Gaia's Design's is doing our part to bring awareness to these communities. We are currently working on making brand new pieces to showcase this month.
